Not receiving emails after latest update "CRM Online 2015 Update 1 (May 2015)"

This weekend had Update 1 (May 2015) for my organization on CRM Online and since then we are not receiving emails into CRM. We use email router, everything has been checked, version, tested connection, approved emails, .... . We are able to send emails from CRM but we are not getting responses back.

Anyone else going through the same problem? Any ideas to get it solved?

We use Gmail for most of our mailing and POP/SMTP through EmailRouter to get it in and out of CRM.

Already opened a service request, but last response was "an internal investigation was submitted to our Operations Team...." with no estimate for a response time.

Thanks in advance,

John

p.s.: I do wait a bit to apply the updates to avoid this kind of problem (they call it update May 2015)...but I guess it didn't work out the way I expected.

To make things worse, not just haven't received a response back from Microsoft Support, but now can't send emails neither.

Error Log: 10/23/2015 10:36:15 : #23379 - Could not verify the version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM at disco.crm.dynamics.com/yourorgname. An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail.

Which environment are you hosting the Email router? Email router for 2015 must be placed on a Win2012 server..

Check the Organization Unique Name in in Settings-->Customizations-->Developer Resources ? Our Url is something like disco.crm4.dynamics.com/<GUID>.

This week has been a hell regards to performance...especially today..

Its on a Win2012 server on Azure.  I checked the organization unique name and is correct.  I'm able to Load, test and publish from the configuration manager....but still, no email going into the CRM.

Any messages in the Windows application error-log?

Have had some issues regards to this and ended up setting up a local SMTP-server on my Azure Win2012-server...

    Take a look at this:

No messages on error log. Looking into windows update noticed EmailRouter was updated (Update 1.1 - 7.1.0001) the day before the problem started. Looking further about this update found this thread: community.dynamics.com/.../440514

Uninstalling Update 1.1 resolved the issue.

Also disabled automatic updates for other Microsoft products on windows update settings.

    Did you find a solution??
We are at the same situation. After spend a lot of time...I´m not able to get any email with this update. If I roll back the update...the system works fine.
The problem is also on MSRM 2016 with new "email router"; I did a clean install, just 1 user, 1 queue, 1 mail profile...and it doesn´t process any incoming mail.

On the email router "log" I can see the "validating the email", but always is "blank" on subject tag "" , from tag "" , and to tag "" :
    .....
    04/16/2016 22:43:42 : #20669 - Checking for email messages to process in mailbox ...
04/16/2016 22:43:42 : #49073 - Validating the email message with subject "" from to for delivery to http://whcrm2016:5555/...

I´m waiting to fix this trouble to upgrade our system
    Thanks¡ ¡

In this case updating the Email Router was the problem. Looking into windows update noticed EmailRouter was updated (Update 1.1 - 7.1.0001) the day before the problem started. Looking further about this update found this thread (community.dynamics.com/.../440514).

This is a problem for us too.

We were running CRM 2015 Online with Email Router 2015, using POP3/SMTP, all was working well.
After upgrading both to 2016, the Email Router can open the mailbox, but finds no content in the email:

    06/21/2016 16:18:38 : #1866 - Checking the email message with subject "" in mailbox abc@abc.com for delivery to <deployment name>
06/21/2016 16:18:39 : #60263 - The email message with subject "" in mailbox abc@abc.com for delivery to <deployment name> was rejected. Reason: InvalidSender.

To see if the problem was with the Email Router server, I had a new server built and made a fresh install of Email Router 2016 - the problem is the same.
The Email Router has not had Update 1.1 installed, so I cannot try the solution that worked for John Leme.
