Account structure is not valid for ledger

Good afternoon,

A few months ago we have changed a few of or account structures. We didn't think it would be this hard, but now, when we try to post Sales Tax Payments, we run in to trouble and get the message 'Account structure is not valid for ledger'.

The account structure he is asking for is deleted from the system and replaced by another one.  How can I solve this issue?

We tried already to upload the old Account structure again, but then it is rejected of course by the structure that is given in the new lines.

Hopefully somebody can help me.

    Hi Ilse,

    LCS is created for customers initially to support the implementation and lifecycle of AX. If you or another contact within your organization has a login for customersource, you can login on LCS with the same credentials.

    Of course the partner might be able to assist as well.

    No, we don't use 'advanced rule structures' at this moment.

    thank you for your quick respond. I myself do not have access to life cycle services, but I will ask our AX-partner to check.

    Have you included he account in any of the advanced rule structures?

    Hello Ilse,

    As far as I remember MS has released a hotfix for that.

    Can you check on LCS for that hotfix and check whether this fixes your issue.
