Auto setting a pricelist on contact based on linked account

Hello Forum,

Is it possible to have the system automatically assign a certain pricelist for a contact, based on what pricelist is on the account that the contact is linked to?
I.e. if Contact A is linked to Company B with pricelist C. Can you setup a task that changes the pricelist on Contact A to pricelist C, or whatever else you might choose on the Company?

I look forward to your answers and recommendations on how to implement this.

Hi Partner,

The first thing I need to confirm is the relationship between the three tables:

1)Price list have 1:N relationship with Account & Contact.

2)Account and Contact are 1:N relationship:

If so, you can try to create one workflow to achieve you goal:

1)Create the workflow on Contact entity:

2)Start when: Record is created & Record fields change-select company name

3)Add steps:

--Condition: Check if the current contact is associated with the account

--Update contact: fill price list with value from associated account

4)Save and Active.
