integration manager

Hello.  I have been using Microsoft GP for many years but have recently added Integration manager to the mix.

Most tasks for inventory are fine, however, i'm experiencing challenges reagarding sales order integrations.

My online store, Volusion, exports all sales data into an excel file.

Using integration manager (version 10) to attempt to import the sales results in a sales order for every single item number instead of a single sales order with the qty and models associated with each individual sale.

Basically, if i have 5 orders to import with 10 items each, Integration Manager and GP are creating 50 individual orders, one for each item.....

I'm a noob at Integration Manager and suspect maybe i need some custom VBA to auto-increment the sales so Integration manager treats 1 sale as just that instead of breaking it up by line items.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...I can send a copy of the excel export if it helps, but my columns and rows are below for reference.

Go into your detail source of the integration properties and group by the orderid.  That should get you back to 5 orders.

that worked great...however, it seems to be now modifying the order of the items...Instead of importing exactly as on the spreadsheet it's taking the grouped order number and sorting automatically alpha numerically each item.  I'll try some troubleshooting to see if i can remedy.

    Thanks again!

You may have to add a line sequence number on the source file if it is possible and then do the group by on the sequence.  Otherwise, I am not sure how to change the sort of the items.   I have not had to sort the data like that before.  Let us know if you figure it out.

Resolved.  With a bit of searching, i found multiple links with others that have had the same opportunity.  Remedying the problem consisted of accessing the Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.ini file and changing the "TRUE" value to "FALSE" for the field named "UseOptimizedFiltering=False".  A quick change and reboot and the final product is exactly what we needed.  Thanks again!
