How to add several Object IDs simultaneously in the permission sets?

Hello,

I'm trying to create new permission set that will include Execute permissions on all Objects type "Page", except for only 10 pages.

As I checked there is no possibility to select multiple object ID's simultaneously and insert in the permission sets. And there are more than 3K Object ID's that I need to insert.

Can you please help me to find the easy way of doing it? It's too much work to do it manually.

P.S. I could not import permissions as I guess it requires the knowledge of xml that I do not have.

You can try this AL command in Visual code: al.generatePermissionSetForExtensionObjects

Hi, If you need to generate permissions for your customized extension, please refer to Igne's suggestion and execute the following command in VS Code.

If you want to add your Permission Set for standard Object. You can use the import and export features. Maintenance requires some knowledge of xml.

Note: Permissions defined as data will be Removed with Business Central 2022 release wave 1.
