D365 F&O "on -premises" version and cash flow forecasting

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to enable the cash flow forecasting functionality in the on-premises system license version?

Yes, Cash Flow Forecasting functionality is available in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) on-premises, but its availability depends on the license configuration and system setup.

To use Cash Flow Forecasting on-premises, make sure you:

Have licensed the Financial Management suite (this is usually part of core D365FO).

Have enabled the appropriate configuration keys:

Cash Flow Forecast functionality is tied to configuration keys that can be checked in System Administration > License Configuration.

Look for: Cash flow forecasting, Budgeting and Ledger

Note: You must restart the AOS after enabling configuration keys.

Thank you very much for your reply. However, we still can't use the functionality.

Cash flow forecast calculation completed successfully.

But there are no effects of the action on the graphs.

and I won't be able to use these charts:

in the workspace in the on-premises version (that's how I understood what was written in the documentation)

Hi Anika,

I believe that you want to use the "Cash overview" workspace in the F&O that is on- prem.

The Cash Overview is used Power BI Embed Report in the Workspace using System administration > Setup >
Entity Store.

You can download the following reports from the LCS and connect to the Database AxDW to show the Power BI Report using Power BI Desktop app.
