Can Requisition Worksheet consider inventory in a warehouse location in addition to the store location?

We have a Store Setup with a Store location and two storage warehouses (we operate on a Caribbean island so need to bulk store some items). Is there a way we can have the requisition worksheet consider stock in both the Store location and warehouses? Right now if I use a requisition worksheet, it will order items we do not need as we have them in the storage warehouse.

Thank you for your help.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi

I do not think this is possible OOTB (like BC sees global inventory and plan globally). But I think that depends on your process it is possible to tweak MRP parameters for better suggestions.

    A few questions:

    1) Do you always ship to your storage then ship to store (transfer order).

    2) What is the lead time of your items? Really long lead time or relatively manageable lead time?

    Just as an idea:

You can setup SKU for Store then make Replenishment System as Transfer from storage. Then set your parameters for Reordering Policy. Then in storage setup Reordering Policy as Order or Lot for Lot ( see this great video by Ben Baxter  www.youtube.com/watch ) I think Lot for Lot is a better option since you can add extra criteria to it.

This way when Planning Worksheet suggest Transfer Order that Order become demand for storage and then system plan for PO. This way sort of store inventory plays role here.
