How to solve the error "command 'al.openDesigner' not found" in Visual Studio Code

Posted on by 42

Hello,

My project is working fine, I can compile and run the package in my sandbox but when I try to use the feature F6 in order to run the Business Central in mode Designer I receive this error message.

What should I do to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

This indeed was a bug and is fixed in the current prerelease version of the AL Language extension: v12.0.800702.

    Hi,

    May be this help something

We no longer need to get the next AL Language extension version from preview containers, now they provide this directly through pre-release versions of the extension in VS Code

Hi, same here, I suspect this is a problem with the standard.

I have installed these extensions but still received the error message when I try to run the "Command Palette" -> " AL: Open in Visual Studio Code Designer".
