Site Account Segment Issue

I have issue with one of my customers using GP2010 that when any account segment ID to attach with any Sites upon the Accounts need to attach with the Sites, then when created any SOP the distribution for the sales account replace to the inventory account and also the cogs account when Post the SOP replace to the inventory account as the sales account, and when I removed this account segment ID from the site card everything is working normal and right without any problem

    If you put screenshots in your last post- none of them displayed. You need to use rich formatting and have to import them from a file in order to see them. Pasting them into the post will not work.

    Hi,

    please find the followings Details :

    When Assign Account Segment with the main warehouse

    When create normal Invoice

    The Distribution for the invoice

    You see that the Sales is located as inventory

    And it the correct one is the following

    And that is the GL Entry you can see the sales and COGS assigned as the Inventory

     

    Now we will remove the account segment ID from the Site

    And will create another invoice for the same site, item and customer

    You can see the distribution now is normal and assigned on the right account

     

    And the GL is normal and right for Sales and Cogs Accounts

    Hi,

    I wanted to know the details I asked to better help answer the questions. For me, the question doesn't provide enough details. You say it is wrong, but what accounts does it change them to? I have never had a problem with this functionality.

    the sales and cogs accounts are wrong when assign site segment ID all distribution accounts in all related TRX for sales and cogs provide me the inventory account which assign to site, and when i remove the segment ID from site everything working right and normal

    Are you saying that it replaces the Main account? Is the site segment being replaced too?

    On the Inventory Control Setup window, is the Segment ID for Sites filled in correctly? In the chart of accounts, what are the account numbers that come out when it's wrong, and what are the account numbers that are right?
