Volume calculated without the correct unit of measure in the item master data

Hello,

I'm having problems with the volume calculated in the item master data. I use inches as unit of lenght and cubic feet as unit of the volume. The system ignore the conversion that I propose from inch3 to feet3 and shows just a calculate value of 6,000 (10x20x30).

How can I force the system to show the converted volume in feet3? Any suggestions?
