Date field in view showing as datetime field

Hi All,

I have added date field in view.

The Extended data type for date field is TransDate. The issue is the date field in view is showing as date and time field. I want to show date only.

Please suggest me how to remove the time from date field.View-period-to-date-field.PNG

    Actually I need to use date field in Power BI report and in Power BI it's showing as date-time field.

    I can select other format. It will be like June18 or July18. But it's not in mm/dd/yy format.
