Correct sales order lines manually/Correct purchase order lines manually with intercompany link

Has anyone managed to work around the design limitation on cleanup task for Correct sales order lines manually/Correct purchase order lines manually?   For a standard order not linked to intercompany (IC) Purchase order or Sales order, recalculating deliver remainder and invoice remainder will work but NOT for order with IC link.  Thanks.
