Does anyone know an easy way of updating a range of stock item pricing or even adding a heap of new stock items easily? It's ridiculous having to do this 1 item at a time. There must be a batch process or export/import facility?

yes, Transaction Import will import data into any screen. I think the instructions are found in the System Manager (Administration now?) manual.
There's a bug in it in version 7, which I am about to post about.
