System Dashboards with hidden Views

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I am new or this has been answered before.

I saw a post from 2019 that it was impossible to hide views but was wondering if anything has changed?

I want to create system Dashboards available to all users but don't want to have millions of views just for the dashboard, is there any way of doing this? I know I could create and share as a user but that also involves having to share all the views, otherwise they get permission issues

Hi Adam,

If you're referring to the views under each chart components, View Selector can be turned off and also set the Default View under chart properties.

If you're referring to dashboard's views itself, this can be configured to show only to the selected security roles and specific app (in D365).

Please give more details if my understanding is not correct.
