Query On Hand by Vendor

My new employer uses AX and I have only had minimal exposure to its querying functions. I am trying to build a query to show me current on - hand quantities filtered by vendor. Can someone walk me through this one?

    I'm not aware of this kind of function in AX as on hand quantity calculated by storage dimension. Probably you can setup batch number for item receiving based on different vendor and filter in your inventory report.

    Hi jdb,

    If you want to specify a vendor(s) then you can use the on hand inventory report.  IM > Reports > On hand > on hand inventory

    In the query dialog box, right click on the on hand inventory table and select n:1 items.

    From there you can add the vendor field as a range and specify vendor(s).

    This probably only work when you have the Vendor Id set on the InventTable but if you purchase the same item from another vendor you won't be able to see this in the report.
