Unable to Export the Excel or Download the files from F&O

Hi,

I use the F&O of Local VHD after setting up the Hosts file.

The URL is working fine, and I can use the F&O.

When I try to download the file using Open in Excel or Export to Excel.

I am getting the below error.

Is there setup I am missing in the host file?

Hi,

I have not come up across such before. Can you confirm the Data management framework service is running.

Hi Komi,

The Data management framework service is running in the instance.

I got new error message at a time of download an Excel.

An error occurred during the export.
An error occurred during the export.
Could not upload to the storage location: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:10002

Hi Raj,

Can you tell us why you changed the hosts file(s)? This is not required for using the VM.

Hi Andre,

Using RDP, only development and R&Ds have been done.

Other users uses the F&O in their local PC by set-up hosts files.

Have you changed the hosts file so you can access F&O from your local computer without RDP? If so, Export to Excel is failing on your local computer because the hosts file is pointing to your localhost 127.0.0.1 which doesn't not have the same software (like Azure cloud storage emulator and whatnot) as the VM for handling this.

We can conclude that the Export to Excel is not possible in Local VHD installation of F&O because of port issues.
