POS 2009 on 2008 Domain Controller?

I have read various threads about people have trouble getting the POS 2009 SQL database to work correctly on a 2003/2008 AD Domain Controller, or use domain accounts at all. Does anyone know if this has been resolved? My design includes running the POS database on a domain controller.

Acording to MS, this is a bug & wont function correctly. I spent 6 days on the phone with them before they came to that conclusion.

    Mostly correct.

The use of Point of Sale (2.0 or 2009) is not supported with Domain Controllers.  The Domain Controller for a network has too many security restrictions that it interferes with the use of Point of Sale.

Point of Sale is much more intregrated with the Operating System than the Store Operations programs, and needs to be able to make changes (especially to users) through the OS.
