I have a custom entity for which there is no QuickFind View. I have checked to make sure it is not deactivated. Why would this be so?

What version of CRM are you using?
Few troubleshooting tips
Are you an administrator?
Are any other staff administrator of the same system?
Makesure this view hasnt been renamed by either yourself(mistakenly or by a colleague)
Online 2016. I'm an administrator. Even if renamed it would show in the list by type. It's not there.
Maybe your entity is not added to the Quickfind search feature in CRM?
to find out if your custom entity is listed
go to Settings --> Administrator--> System Settings
Then click on Select Entities
This should display entities selected allowed to use the quickfind functionality, else just add your entity.

I'm speaking of the Quick Find View that's a component in every entity.
And BTW, my entity is not in the list from the Set up Quick Find area as shown in the screenshot above.
That is strange, when the entity was created did you notice it straight away?
will continue to investigate this and if i find anything will update this forum.
Do you know if this was ever resolved? We all of a sudden have had the "QuickFind" view go missing off one of our custom entities?
Hi Debra, did you ever got this one sorted ? I have the same issue with a custom entity imported from a 3rd party provider
