Forecaster 7 Web Port Problem during installation

Posted on by 1,035

I am trying to set up Forecaster SP3 on a Win 2008 server running IIS 7 (IIS 6 compatibility is also installed). I keep getting this message and nothing that I do seems to work:

The port entered does not represent a valid website on this computer.  Enter a valid port to continue.

Does anyone have the workaround?

    Hi,

After you enter Virtual Directory for the Web site, If you want to install Web Access to a non-default Web site, change the Port number to match the target Web site. This option is enabled only when multiple sites exist on the Web server. By default port number will be 80.

    Regards,

    Santosh
