Configuration Package - What tables to select to import Items in Navision 2018?

Hi Community,

May I ask what tables should I select for importing of Items to configuration package?

I notice that whenever I tried to import something, navision will give error with some thing like the posting groups also needs to be imported or the No 2 can only contain 20 characters, but I don't have this issue with my current company.

Hi, choose Table -> Fields, then you can find Releation Table ID and Caption on the Config. Package Fields page. As Nitin mentioned, you have to import these tables first.

Another thing I am concerned about is that there is no problem with your current company. Is it because you did not check Validate Field?

Hi joshtechsolutions ,

Yes if you are trying to import data into the Item table through the configuration packages, then its mandatory to have all the setup imported first. Like Gen. Prod. Posting Group, Unit of Measure etc.

I would suggest please try to first Export the Item table through the package and it will suggest which tables data required.
