Hello - I can't seem to get the derived dimension feature to be enabled for one of my financial dimensions. The financial dimension is not a custom dimension. The dimension is based upon Fund (menu navigation: General Ledger > Fund). Is there some kind of a limitation with derived dimensions with Fund codes? Below is the Fund code setup I am referring to.
Derived Dimensions Option Greyed Out on Financial Dimension Based on General Ledger > Fund
Hi Martin, Thank you! I am still new at D365 so I believe the table is as you point out, the LedgerFund table. Is there a sure-fire way to tell if an entity is company-specific? I will go back and continue to troubleshoot the advanced accounting rules to try and meet this need.

If it's about LedgerFund table, it is company-specific. For that reason, Derived dimensions button is disabled in DimensionDetails.dimensionAttribute_active().

Thank you, Kevin. I saw these posts and I don't understand neither the relevance nor the solution. My other entity-back dimensions do not have an issue with the "Derived dimensions" option being active for use. I am also not trying to use the legal entity override functionality. The Fund is not specific to any specific legal entity. There is no "Legal entity override" option on a fund setup. I must be missing something obvious but I'm just not seeing it.
