POP blank form - splits the 8th line item between page 1 and page 2

Posted on by 15

Greetings,

My POP blank form splits the 8th line item between page one and page two. Vendor Item Number & Vendor Item Description print on page one and our Item Number prints on page two. Is there a way to move the entire 8th line item to page two?

Thanks,

Pam Williams

Yes, there is a way. In the Section options for the report (in Report Writer), select the section of the report corresponding to the Item Header 1. Click the Open button and limit the number of records that can be printed. In this case, 7

You are correct. The total number of lines (records) that can be printed on page one is 8. The vendor item number and description of line 8 are printing on page one and our item number for line 8 prints on page two. I am wondering if I can modify it to print only 7 lines on page one and print line 8 in its entirety on page two?

    Thanks for your input,

This indicates to me that you have reached the number of lines (records) that can be printed on the body of the PO. I believe by default it is 10 lines. Anything above that will continue on a second or third page etc. This is a Report Writer feature and not something wrong with the report. You could try and reduce the size of the header and footer
