Issue with Testing Topics in Microsoft Copilot Studio

I am working on Microsoft Copilot Studio and I need to test my created topics in Copilot Studio, but I am encountering an issue. When I enter the provided test sidecar, it starts loading but then nothing responds. If I enter default questions, it also shows the same issue. 


Is there any way to fix this issue so that I can test my created topics?

    Hi,
    You can view this document to test your copilot Test your copilot - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn. When testing copilot, you can capture the conversation content and diagnostic data and save it as a file. You can then analyze the data to solve problems, such as copilot not responding in the expected way.
    Two files are included in botContent.zip:
    dialog.json contains the conversation diagnostics, including a detailed description of the error.
    botContent.yml contains the topic and other content of copilot, including entities and variables.

    Hi,

    Also currently for me in a private sandbox, the testing option is not working. It can be related to some newly added topics in your and my environment, but not sure. You can publish the changes and try them out in a sandbox environment.  You can also log an incident for Microsoft Support.

    The issue I am facing is that my test Copilot sidecar on Copilot Studio is not responding to my entered question.

    I'm pretty sure I provided a reply already on this post. It looks like they were deleted or not visible at this moment. I encounter the same in my private sandbox. 
    It might be caused by additional topics as customization. Can you tell more details about what exactly you added? 
    I added a topic where with help of Power Automate a reply was generated and I have a topic with a X++ add-in.

    Anyway, I published the changes and tested the changes in a sandbox environment.

    Yes, you are right. All responses from my posts have been deleted, not only this one but also responses from other posts. I'm not sure how this happened.

    I am currently testing as you mentioned, by publishing the topic and then testing it on D365 F&O. However, I would like to test my topic on Copilot Studio's test sidecar to avoid having to publish it repeatedly to check my changes.

    I have added the X++ code that returns the sales order status and created a topic on Copilot Studio for this.

    The integration between Copilot Studio and F&O is not completed yet. There might be some issues that need to be identified and fixed. I think this testing issue might be one of the issues. In case you (and me also) are using X++ client extensions, in that case, it probably can't execute the code from the Test pane, resulting in this current behavior.
