Dear Microsoft-Community,
I create contacts with the field "Do not allow Bulk Emails" set to "not allow". Later, my contacts opted in and the value changed to allow.
Unfortunately, this step is no longer updated in Real Time Marketing because the contact was already set to "Not Allow" and it does not sync. To change that I have to create a workaround with a Power Automate. But I don't understand why.
What is the standard process in the Consent Center when a contact subscribes again? It often happens that a contact withdraws consent but gives it back after a while.
Also, I don't understand that a contact who has the value email set to "allow" but bulk email set to "not allow" will not receive any transactional emails in Real Time Marketing because they are blocked by the system. Shouldn't transactional emails that affect my business also be sent to contacts who have unsubscribed from my bulk emails?
Thank you very much
Ferdinand
Hi Ferdinand Ganter,
Yes, that's correct. It would not synchronise when you change the "Bulk Email" to allow. You could only manually change it or create a flow to do this like you did.
You could post an idea to progress this feature:
Hi Steve,
Yes, that is clear. But when Bulk Email is on Not Allow and I send out an Email in Real Time Marketing it sets the consent center to "Opt-Out". But after the contact is on Bulk Email Allow again the consent center is still "opt-out". Because this does not synchronise..
Regards
Ferdinand
Hi Ferdinand Ganter,
When the option is set to "not allow", the contacts can be added to marketing list but they could not receive the email. I tested this on my side. When it is "not allow", they can't receive the email. When I manually changed this value to allow and send email through journey, the contact can receive the email again. So how do you change this value?
