I am looking a this page:
www.microsoft.com/.../erp-gp-overview.aspx
There is option to request for Test Drive, but it ask for Business Information during registration. I am wondering if it is possible to download trial version for learning purpose for students or unemployed people who do not have any business information. Any suggestion?

    Cesar,

the OP wasn't inquiring about the existence of a demo company, but whether a Student could download & install a free trial of Dynamics GP.

Basically, the answer is NO.  Without approaching a registered partner or VAR, there is no way someone can get their hands on a Dynamics GP setup media (unless it was handed over under the table by an existing customer).

There is a reason why Microsoft doesn't sell Dynamics GP over the counter like any Office package in the old days where you could just go to BestBuy and go home with your box to setup Word or Excel...

Dynamics GP is an ERP system, and as such requires some consideration when it comes to install it.. not just the app, but everything around this ecosystem (SQL, Accounting, configuration, etc... )

Throw this into the hands of some ignorant wannabe IT admin that has no idea about GP, and chances are that he'll ask for help pretty soon.

The original post has a link that directs to a GP product page, but at the bottom, the test trial is leading to a Dynamics 365 BC page, which is something completely different and available online. Anyone can subscribe for a free trial on D365BC.. not GP.

Two completely different worlds.. I don't know why Microsoft mixed up those 2 products on the same page, as it's very confusing for prospects and customers that do not have yet an ERP (or some that wants to learn using a Microsoft ERP).

I think there is no trail version download available for GP without a business information. But, you can learn from online training session.

Please have a look on the below links.
