Feature Pack 1: Global Voucher Configuration?

Hi,

Having a problem configuring Global Vouchers with feature pack 1.

Its installed, I have the item, linked tender type and all information is at store level.

When I attempt to sell the voucher, when I tender the transaction it attempts to contact Voucher Server but fails "Attempts to contact HQ failed"

The configuration seems correct as I can test the connections in Voucher Client. Firewall etc is all off. Database compatibility modes are both matching (80).

Any ideas? I don't want to go down the route of a third party addin. Perhaps there is a config guide out there? I searched partnersource but found nothing.

Hello Matt,

Be sure to have every tab in HQ Client filled out correctly and testing successfully. Once you have that set up you will also want to ensure your HQ Client details are filled out in the Store Operations Administrator | Configuration.

Can you ping the server from your client!! check what block you to connect to server from client. Make sure that in Firewall setting if it is on at the HQ there are exception for SQL server for TCP port 1433, for SQL Browser UDP port 1434 are allowed.

Hope you configure HQ client details on Store administrator -> Configuration
