As title, my customer has some custom tables storing their POS transaction and membership data in D365 BC online, we need to do data analysis with some custom build tool, whats the easiest way to read large data stored inside D365 BC? Is there some sort of ADO.NET / ODBC way we can use?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi

My suggestion is try to store those data in data lake. Based on my experience anytime you read lots of data from BC then it slows down BC for other users. But if you extract data to data lake then you can use data lake.

    Some options are   github.com/.../bc2adls

    or

    appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.efoqus-5058796|AID.replicator|PAPPID.18a4d438-88d1-44ee-a38d-3c0ea0d77338

    or

    lyftron.com/.../
