Deleting mail drafts in Cases (CRM 2013)

Hey guys.

The current scenario is: a email converted Case is attributed to a User in CRM.

I want the user to be able to delete an email draft inside that Case, but NOT the original email from the Customer.

Giving the User permission to delete his own Activities (emails) wouldn't solve the problem, since i don't want them to delete Customer emails.

Is there any way i can achieve this?

I'm using CRM 2013 SP1 UR1.

    Hi Tiagosh,

    there are 2 option.

    First one, don't assign the customer emails to the users, assign to the different user (admin user, cases can be assigned to the user not incoming email from customer). in this case you can enable the delete permission for his own records in the security roles

    second one If you don't want to change the customer emails owner, you can use the bulk delete option (you can schedule as well) with the condition status = 'Draft' and Owner = 'logged In user" to delete the draft status mails automatically.

    Please verify this ANS if it is resolved your query.

    Hey Harish, thanks for your feedback.

    Since the first option is not possible, i'll opt for the 2nd one, which seems more precise and this way it won't be needed to change all the other already implemented options for mail/case treatment.
