Using CRM for "Getting Things Done"

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask such a question, but here goes. I'm trying to implement the GTD Getting Things Done philosophy in my life and I'd like to customize Dynamics CRM to facilitate that.

I've tried searching the web for related discussions, but haven't found any.

Have any of you customized CRM to include projects and such so that it can function as a GTD program? Can anyone recommend any sources for information as to how to do so?

David, I was kind of in the same thought process you are and decided to venture out on my own I guess. I wanted to use CRM to manage more than just my clients and do more to "get things done". With this I created a custom entity "Project" and filled it with what I needed for tracking the information related to that project. Furthermore, with the whole "getting things done" thoughts, I wanted to be able to create the workflows that would automate the business items I would touch 200 times in a year, which would assist me further with the "getting things done". I decided to create all my own attributes because what I did find out there wasn't either, 1: worth the money or 2: had what I needed. If this is what you are referring to, I would be more than glad to show you how we are using CRM with the Projects Entity. It might give you some ideas yourself.
