Remove back ordered items from the SOP Blank Packing Slip template

Hi,

My client always has backordered items on their sales orders (they do not create backordered docs due to business process.) They do NOT want those backordered line items to print on the SOP Blank Packing Slip template. Can I do that?

Thanks,

Linda

I have never tried this but you could try to add a restriction to the report where backorder quantity must be zero. Are you familiar with how to use Report Writer in GP?

    Hi Richard,

I am familiar with report writer. I'll try a restriction.

I also think we can print the packing slip from the invoice since we're only transferring the shipped items to the invoices - so the packing slip should have only the items we want.

    Thanks!

You will need to make your packing slip look like an invoice but you can give that a try.
