Accounts Other Than Posting Accounts in the Chart of Accounts

Hi:

I don't believe that I can't find documentation on this.

Can someone please concisely tell me the purposes of the non-posting accounts (highlighted accounts in the screenshot below) versus Account Subcategories?

I would really appreciate it!

    Main Purpose is to provide an on-screen trial balance anytime you look into your Chart of Accounts.

    Side purpose is the ability to pull just totalling accounts into Account Schedules/Financial Reports
