Hi team,
I have got below error while deploying report
The number of defined parameters is not equal to the number of cell definitions in the parameter panel.
I have 3 datasets and having parameters on each dataset.
Kindly let me know why we got this issue? And how will fix this?
This error is also related to the cell definition. Not related to the text box. Just add the newly added parameters to the cell definition tag and increase Number of rows.
Refer to the below blog.
Thanks,
Girish S.
No, not yet added any text box from my end
Use this for the cell error.
For the error you are facing, might be due to expression you defined in textbox issue or try doing a build and sync of model.
Now I got this below issue
Kindly let me know how will fix this?
thanks Bharani,
2nd point is more difficult for me to recreate design because the report has many designs.
come to the first point
I have 3 dataset with 30 parameters on each dataset.
Kindly let me know how will i do with XML file and what to check exactly?
Kinldly elaborate me please. I am new this error.
This error only comes when if your parameters on report and at the design level are different. One thing you can do is to edit XML file of the report deleting not required parameters which is a bit difficult task.
2nd thing is to recreate the whole design.
Nothing Baharani,
As per my requirement, I have just added one field on Temp table. and in SSRS report dataset, I have just restored it to get the field.
after this, rebuild + Sync +deploy the report then got the error
"The number of defined parameters is not equal to the number of cell definitions in the parameter panel."
pls give me more shed on this.
Have you changed the contract class?
