Hi,

I have a question about using Sharepoint as a storage for product images. I want the images to show up on POS as well and have plans on using the Sharepoint URL link on the products. As I'm testing this out, I was just wondering if anyone else has tried doing this? Or if there are any other cloud storage options out that I can use instead.

One basic mandate for showing the images on POS is to be able to access the image which ends with the file name. With SharePoint, this will be difficult. If you visit the below documentation, MS has called out that Share point based media management is not supported.

On most of our projects, we use Azure blob storage/Amazon S3 bucket to host the images for POS. So far we haven't faced any performance issues. If your stores are spread around different geographies, I would recommend looking at any CDNs.

There are some new changes that are coming around media management which might change the way we upload product images.
