I am having a frustrating time with Data migration framework. After bit of a struggle, I did manage to install all the components required including the migration framework model and got it to compile within Ax. However whilst trying to integrate the items/products using the product I stumbled across an issue which I can't seem to resolve. I understand its still a beta version (2.0), however I would have expected it to bit more user friendly.
Whilst committing the staging data to Ax (copy data to target), it keeps popping the following in the error log with no records being imported:
Results. Record ('SR_TEST_1') -. Cannot create a record in Inventory Module Parameters (InventTableModule). Module type: Purchase order. The record already exists.
Results. Record ('SR_TEST_2') -. Cannot create a record in Inventory Module Parameters (InventTableModule). Module type: Purchase order. The record already exists.
The log is repeated for each item used in the import. I have checked the InventTableModule table and there are no records matching the items I am trying to import. Also I do not think its an issue with the source data or mappings as all the validations prior to the committing the data to Ax worked ok.
Any help will be appreciated.
