Restore a disabled user from backup (on premise - AD)

Hey there,

we have the policy to delete the AD user object after the employee left the company. No problem till now. Because the users in our on premise CRM 2013 installation are only disabled and not deleted we have to give our users new usernames if they come back (it happens ;) ). Is it possible to restore an old user from backup to AD and link him/her (same SID) to her user account?

Thanks for your answers.

Stephan

    Hi

Please refer the following. It is good to Take a full back up of the DB before doing this.

Thanks for the link. That's an awful way of handling a normal user lifecycle.
