Is there any solution if Physical inventory for item not enough for production order

i have a final product and it has a formula with 3 items , one of this item if not available in inventory quantity we can use alternate item , how we can do this setup

Or, you can edit the BOM on the Production order before you Start it. Or you can simply edit the Production Picking list before you post it.
