Business Portal for Dynamics SL 7

Hello there,

I'm trying to install the Business portal for Dynamics SL7 in Windows server 2003 SP2 but the system fails in prerequisites check. Listed below the failures that i have facing:

1.  Your version of BP is not supported to upgrade. ( There is no prior versions are installed, Fresh installation)

2.  .Net Framework 3.0 is not installed. ( I have installed the framework but no idea why its failed)

3.  Office server is not installed. 

4. BP cannot installed on site with FrontPage Server Extensions enabled. ( I have prohibited this Webservice Extension at IIS Manager).

Please advice if i'm missing something.

So far, below are the things has been installed already:

1. Windows Server 2003 SP2

2. Windows share point service 3.0

3. IIS 6.0

    Hi Karthik,

    I am not an expert in Business Portal but I am wondering if you need to make sure that UAC is turned off on the machine?

    Hi Cory,

    Thanks for your help. I have figured out the root cause for this issue and i am embarrassed to say this cause i was trying to install with the not working installation file. Then i installed with the working version and it seems working fine.
