Office365 admin privileges for Dynamics CRM on line

Hi,

What type of privileges (extent thereof) I have as Office 365 admin/global admin, for Dynamics CRM/365, regarding charts, reports, dashboards etc. I am trying to figure out what can I do without having to buy an additional CRM license for this purpose, since I dont have any functional need i.e. Sales or Service.

    Thanks, I did the 'promote' thing like you said, but still the same. I tried to modify an existing dashboard and also create a new one and getting the same messages. I enclosed the two screen-shots below.

    Check your user's security roles in your CRM instance.  It's possible System Admin wasn't properly applied.  If not, click the "Promote to Administrator" button on your user record.  That will fix things.

    That's what I thought, but when I tried it say's something like " I do not have enough privileges. Contact your System administrator"...etc. And funny thing is I am the sysadmin. Wonder what I am doing wrong.

    System Admins can do anything, so you should be able to create and modify anything in the system, including dashboards.

    Hi Wayne,

    Thanks for the info. Yes, I do see sys admin functions etc. I do use it to assign roles, email configuration etc. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to create/modify Dashboard(s), reports, charts etc.  Wonder what is out there for sysadmins without buy a CRM license. The only licenses I have is E3.

    In sort, O365 Global admins are also organization-level system admins in D365.
