Smartlist - preparing an aged historical trial balances for payables

I am trying to prepare a smartlist report listing all open invoices as of a specific date in excel. I can run the "canned" report (historical aged trial balance) but it does not convert to Excel in a readily usable format. The report does not need to be aged. My auditors requested such a report so that they can do testing during the audit. I have GP 2013.

    The HATB SSRS report should work great for this - Do you have them deployed?

    Perhaps the most efficient option is to actually modify your "canned" report so that it is in a more Excel-friendly format.  This can be easier to accomplish than trying to create a SmartList, for this particular need.

    Make sure you back up your reports dictionary (REPORTS.dic) first!

    If you are not familiar with using Report Writer to modify reports, you may want to contact your GP consultant for assistance.
