On-Prem DEV – SSRS Report Not Printing directly to printer via Document Routing

I configured Document Routing successfully in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations on an on-prem DEV machine.

  • Printer is registered and online and it was shown in network printers in setup in F&O
  • Test page from Document Routing Agent → working ✔ and it prints the test printing sucessfully
  • while sending a ssrs report directly print using a printer while opening with change destination in report dialog  it shows a info
    (report was sent to xxxx printer)

👉 But no actual print output ❌

Has anyone faced this issue where everything looks correct, but printing doesn’t happen? Any suggestions on what to check in backend

    This usually happens because SSRS uses the AOS service account, not your user. Make sure the printer is installed and accessible for the AOS account - once that account can see the printer, printing works.
