Is there a way to integrate Project 2007 with Dynamics without Project Server? Or is Project Server required? I'd like to be able to send Project information to Dynamics.

Which Microsoft Dynamics product are you using?
We have done something like this for Project 2010 and it did not require project server. E.g. a user can create a project in Dynamics CRM (we linked them with Opportunities), along with tasks, milestones, resources, etc. then click a button to export that to Project 2010. It's also possible to do the reverse, start in MS Project and add your details, then click an Export button that created the same structure in Dynamics CRM. This was all custom developed code.
There is a fairly decent API for MS Project. I believe something similar could be done with Project 2007 but would recommend upgrading to 2010 instead.
There is a company called Ablebridge that has built a Project Management addon for Dynamics CRM, however, I do not know if they have any integration with MS Project, but it does look pretty good from their website, www.ablebridge.com/products-project-management.htm
