Hello all,
does anybody have an idea, what could be wrong with the Standard Microsoft Electronic report Fixed Asset Roll forward? I work in Contoso Version 10.0.8, downloaded it from LCS, started successfully and get an excel file, but I see some discrepances in the layout:
How can this be solved? Thanks in advance! For Version 10.0.6 its working fine!
Evelyn
Hi Evelyn,
Noticed the same problem in my demo environment.
Seems to be a bug in this version.
Can you open a support request with MS and report this issue?
Many thanks and best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
thanks for the feedback. Issue was submitted to MS today.
Kind regards,
Hi Evelyin,
Many thanks.
Would be great if you could keep us updated once you got some feedback and it has been resolved.
Best regards,
MS already worked on that issue:
Quick update on this support ticket: I tested out exporting the "Fixed asset roll forward" report to Excel using a standard environment on PU32 App. 10.0.8 and I was able to replicate the issue.
Thus, troubleshooting internally I found that this issue with "Fixed asset roll forward" has been already towards our product group and it was caused because the Electronic Reporting framework was not rendering data correctly in Excel for this "Fixed asset roll forward" report. The issue has been fixed into 10.0.9 fix build 10.0.383.0 and kindly consider KB 4540866 for further references.
Regards,
Can we close this case then and verify the answers or should we leave it open until you tested this in 10.0.9 when it becomes generally available?
from my point of view this case can be closed.
I checked version 10.0.9 and confirm that the layout error is solved now.
Regards, Evelyn
