Is it possible to have the time roll on through with out having to click the button to change the date after midnight? We have automation in place. Automation can't run when that pop up appears. We did change the dex.ini to prevent the pop up, however that ONLY got rid of the pop up and did not effect the time.

If you are on GP 2010 there is a free tool in the Professional Services Tools Library that will automatically update the user date without the pop-up. If you are on previous releases of GP, you may need to ask the Professional Services Team if they have something similar for prior versions.
