We are running this process for in a Sandbox environment for 2 companies against the Item Inventory. The first company only had 3700 item records and the process finished in 4 minutes. The second company has 50,000 Items. So far the process has been running for 10 hours and it still says /Updating Data/. It hasn't yet completed. Judging from the first company the second one should only take 2 or 3 hours.. Does anyone have an idea why it is taking so long?
The question is regarding performance issue. It is highly recommended that you follow the MS document which describes a troubleshooting process that can help to guide you to find the root cause of the problem.
