Hi,

How to create an alert, when recurring jobs has a record with status "Processed with error"?

In other forms we could choose "field has changed" when creating an alert

We need to be notified when there is an error for a recurring job

Hi Deldyn,

I don't have the option to verify the current behavior, but it might be the case that the record is directly created with the status. In that case, there is no update.

You can try to open the Processing status page, filter on the status to show only records with Processed with error. Then create an alert rule for the table when it gets created. It will create a rule, including a query condition.

I filtered on "processed with error"

1- i have this recurring integration for the same export job in another legal entity. Do i need to create the alert twice in each legal entity? or will it work by itself?

2- what is wide organization?

3- what is send externally? does this need to be yes?

4- how to see the query of the alert after i created it?

5- i created the alert, but i need to fix the email setup in order to see if it works, i'll update you once i figure it out

6- I can't send the alert to more than one person?

Hi Deldyn,

The frist two follow up questions can be answered with a single reply. In case you set the alert organization-wide, it will run across all legal entities.

3) Send externally is used to deliver the alert to a business event. You can e.g. start a Power Automate flow based on the alert.

4) Unfortunately. there is no support out of the box to view or adjust the query. You can check out the Docentric Free edition which has support to view the query related to alert rules.

6) You can create the same alert for multiple user. Also the Docentric Free edition has support to setup a group to deliver one alert to multiple users at once.

Hi Deldyn,

Can you see record related to alerts in the form Batch email sending status? You probably need to enable a batch job to process the outgoing emails.

Batch email sending status has records, but not records related to the alert I did. Why the records are not created in this table? what else am i missing?
