Hi Peter,
Can you elaborate? What is your process and what are you looking for exactly? Usually sales orders are used to sell items. Not sure what you mean with "parts used in the sales order".
The system is geared around queries from an item.
I would be inclined to build a Power bI report to aggregate and slice the data.
One option that might make it easier to inquire on related items and batches by order (if you are not using serialization) is to add the sales order number as the serial number on shipping, or a concatenation of the sales rode number and the batch number. Although it seems illogical Ax does allow duplicate serial numbers.
Hi Andree
In production we have work orders where top level parent Wo is picked for sales order and then dispatch. What i want to see is some kind of report what batch numbers was picked for production work orders to complete the parrent wo which was picked and shipped under sales order number. Hope i explain that right i new to those things.
There are some options to see on forms the relations. But this would be order by order. A report would require some customizations.
