D 365 Outlook CRM App (lightweight) Unable to Login

hi,

our customer has just updated their crm 2016 Server (onprem) to December Update 2265 (8.2x).

Finally we were able to add the Dynamics CRM App For Outlook (lightweight) to some test-Outlook clients (and web client, too).

But when we open the app/panel we always get the Login-Dialog where we have to add our credentials.

And even if we type in our correct credentials it keeps prompting the Login-Dialog.

the behaviour is the same in Outlook (onprem) and Outlook.com (online).

any ideas?

    I guess they fixed it but I was not involved in the fix and have no contact to this customer anymore.

    I am experiencing a similar issue for a client who is using Dynamics 365 On-Premises and Exchange Online. 

    I was able to move forward by configuring Dynamics 365 Applications to use OAuth, as described here: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/hh699726.aspx#BKMK_WS2012R2

    As well as registering the Client App on the ADFS server, which is discussed in the same article. 

    I notice that when I attempt to use the Dynamics 365 icon from Outlook or Web Access I am prompted for credentials to my Organization URL. Canceling this prompt will prompt me for credentials to my ADFS url, supplying credentials at this prompt will then load the ADFS login portal in a separate window, logging into this portal will allow me to "successfully" use the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. 

    Let me know if you are able to progress by verifying/addressing OAuth and registering the Client App.

    Hi,

    same issue here.

    OnPrem Dyn365 IFS/ADFS works fine.

    Windows Login-Dialog keeps prompting when starting the Dynamics CRM App for Outlook in OWA...

    We have spent days to check again and again all the guides/procedures.

    Any ideas ?

    We have rolled out to one of our customers and worked perfectly but it's on CRM Online though....
