Hi,

I've configured an activity with a datasource that has thousands of rows. After setting up this activity, when i check the entities in the data tab for the unified activity there is only one row of data available. No activities are being displayed in the customer timeline as well.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Can you check the system status to make sure that the activity completed without errors? Processing can take a while.  If so and they've finished after a refresh, I'd look to double check the keys that are joining to it. Make sure all of the merged records have the Key from the Activities present.  CI can be a little fussy at times, so small things like spaces can be a problem. Are you joining to the merged customer profile on a string field or a numeric one?  Hopefully iit's just the refresh completing and it will show up in a while, i've had that happen a few times, come back a few hours later and I see the items there, especially if it's a Demo environment.

Activity is refreshing correctly. I'm using a string field. I've waited for a few hours already and the data is still not present. Only one row appears, but it seems to be a random row (not the first, nor the last). Not all of the activities have a value for which they can be merged to the customer but that is expected, and it's certainly more than one.

Gotcha, figured as much but gotta rule it out first.  So my honest opinion, I'd open up Power Bi, connect to the instance and see what's going on.   There can be some anomalies here and there, but in PBI, you'll be able to see exactly what's in the merged records and fields.  If you know a few activities that should have a match, at least you can quickly search the records there and make sure nothing got mangled in MS, that it's not a casing issue or some control characters like carriage returns or line feeds.  Chances are that something will stick out, but the quickest path I use is  PBI.

Should the activity data source be mapped in the unify section? I'll try to set the fields as numbers as they are digits anyway.

    Thanks.

If I'm following the setup correctly, No.  You create the whole Map, Match and Merge,  Then you create a new Activity and set the key there. Activity and Customer data should be separate in almost all cases.
