Best before date in Batches

Hi

I have question about the "Best before date" in Batches.

I understand that we cannot reserve Batches which has "Best before date" =< Today's date.

Is there any way to reserve this kind of items with parameter settings?

Thank you,

    Additional information.

    Item must be FEFO-date controlled.

    Hi,

If you want to reserve a batch that has passed its best before days in inventory you can reset the dates for that particular batch.

Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Batches > Best before as of date.

Click Functions and select Reset shelf life dates. The Reset shelf life dates dialog box is displayed.

In the Best before date field, select the new date.

Change manufacturing date. Best before date and expiration date will be automatically calculated based on shelf life days setting for the product

Manufacturing date must be earlier than both, best before and expiration date. Best before date must be earlier than expiration date. Shelf advice date is independent of all the other dates

In addition to what Sagar stated about resetting the dates, you can also use FEFO to reserve based on Expiration date instead of Best Before date.  That's an option in the Item Model Group that might be worth exploring.

Hello, You can view setup in: Item cart->General->Administration->Item model group. Open the table ->Setup->Reservation->FIFO date-controlled / must be marked /.

    Hello,

Have you managed to use a solution for your question? note that the system should control the expiry date and not the Best-before date.

    Thank you,

In the Item model group of the article you can configurate the parameter called Pick criteria.

If you select Exipation date insted of Best before date you could reserve batches which has best before date =< today´s date.
