D365FO - How to get a report on security roles and related privileges?

Hello!

An attempt to get a report on the combination of roles and related privileges using Out-of-box security reports did not reflect custom roles, but only standard roles in D365FO. Please advise the T-SQL query string, which will reflect the security role and related privileges.

    Yes, that's what I did in the first place. As I wrote in my original post: "An attempt to get a report on the combination of roles and related privileges using Out-of-box security reports did not reflect custom roles, but only standard roles in D365FO." The resultant report did not contain any of the custom roles which were created in the environment only the standard roles.

    Hi MarinaAX,

    Please check if the outcome of the entities are really correct. In the past, I got too many rows. There was a known issue reported to Microsoft, but I have not verified if that had been solved already.

    Thank you so much for your extremely valuable heads-up, André! And for all your help with other inquiries!!!

    Life taught me always verify the information, so between I read Sukrut's response and posted my answer I made the random selection of the Roles + [Duties] + Priveleges from D365 and compared them with the Excel content for several roles. The selections were identical. We are using 10.0.4 PU28 so I gave a benefit of the doubt to the content of the Excel spreadsheet with the data entity output.

    Again, André, thank you very much on keeping your eye on the already answered questions and thank you very much for your valuable recommendations and warnings!
